NOMINATIONS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Nominations for the 2010-2011 LHSA Executive Officers and three Director positions are now open. The election will be held at the 42nd Annual Meeting in Wetzlar, Germany, in September 2010. Executive officers will serve a one-year term. Newly elected directors will serve a three-year term expiring in the fall of 2013.

 

If you wish to nominate a member for any of the above positions or are personally interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee by April 15. The list of nominees will be posted on the LHSA website by April 30.

STUDENT PHOTO CONTEST

The Leica Historical Society of America is pleased to announce its 2010 Spring Shoot STUDENT PHOTO CONTEST for invited schools in the Savannah, Georgia area.  Contest entry is open as of Monday, March 1, and all entries should be submitted by Monday, March 22. 

 

There are five entry categories in the Photo Contest.  A winner will be selected in each category and notified by April 9, 2010.  Winners will be invited to attend a reception at the LHSA Spring Shoot on April 15 in Savannah.  The prize is $50 cash and a one-year Electronic Membership in the LHSA.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

If you have yet to renew your membership for 2010, please do so now to maintain your log-in access to the website and ensure uninterrupted delivery of the Viewfinder journal (next issue will be published in mid-March).
