SAVANNAH SPRING SHOOT

APRIL 14-18, 2010

The 2010 Spring Shoot will be held in beautiful Savannah, GA.  The headquarters hotel will be the Inn at Ellis Square, conveniently located in the heart of the historic district. The registration deadline is Monday, March 15.

 

The LHSA group rate of $129 plus tax is valid from April 12-19 and includes a hot Continental breakfast.  Hotel reservations should be made by March 15.  Contact the hotel at 1-877-542-7666, ext. 147.  The group code is "LHSA."

Savannah is served by the Savannah/Hilton Head airport, with connections from most major airlines.  Taxi fare to the Historic District is approximately $35 one way.  For shuttle reservations, contact K-Shuttle, 1-877-243-2050.  Shuttle fare is $34 round trip and $24 one way, per person.  Please visit www. savannahairport.com for airline and ground transportation information.

WETZLAR - 2010!

September 23-29, 2010

The 42nd Annual Meeting of the LHSA will be held in Wetzlar, Germany, September 23-29, 2010, to coincide with Photokina, the international camera show. 

 

The headquarters hotel will be the Wetzlarer Hof.  All hotel reservations and registration for tours, events and meals will be paid in advance through the LHSA office.  Registration will begin May 1 and the deadline to register will be July 1.

 

The general itinerary is as follows:

 

Thursday, September 23 - Arrival in Wetzlar - Bus transportation provided from Frankfurt airport

 

Friday, September 24 - Tours of Wetzlar

 

Saturday, September 25 - Photokina or Walking Tour of Cologne

 

Sunday, September 26 - Rhine River Cruise

 

Monday, September 27 - LHSA Programs and Banquet

 

Tuesday, September 28 - Leica Factory Tour and Visit to Braunfels Castle and Village

 

Wednesday, September 29 - Leica Akademie Sessions (Limited enrollment).  Transportation provided to Frankfurt airport for members and guests not enrolled in Akademie.

 

Thursday, September 30 - Leica Akademie participants depart (Transportation to Frankfurt airport provided).
