Designed by OSCAR BARNACK, three of these PROTOTYPE cameras were made between 1913 and 1918. Commercial introduction of the LEICA 1(A) was in 1925.

LEICA "O" Replica.
Introduced at the 2000 Photokina and identical to the 1923 original, made from 2000 to 2002. The Anastigmat lens is a recomputation of the Max Berek's original with modern glass and coatings. Serial numbers were in the current series. - 2,000 sets produced.
