The horrific fire at Notre Dame in Paris on April 15 is a tragedy beyond description. The restoration will take many years and the pain of loss will persist. This is an opportunity for us to do good with our photography.  LHSA – The International Leica Society is starting a cooperative public service effort to aid in the restoration efforts.

We are soliciting your images of Notre Dame (interior or exterior).

Please share your own photographs of Notre Dame.  Doing that will help preserve memories and could also assist in the restoration.,  The best of our collective images will comprise a book that will be sold with proceeds from the profits going to organizations that support restoration efforts, and we will also offer all photographs to the restoration team.

To participate in this LHSA members-only project, please read below:

·         Submit a maximum of TWO (2) images of Notre Dame

·         Image Size: cropped at 4 x 6, 300 dpi (OR 1800 x 1200 pixels)

·         Jpeg file should include your name

·         Title of each image

·         Photo Credit: Name, City, State/Province, and Country

A panel of LHSA Ambassadors will select the best 100 images for inclusion in the book. All rights except those necessary for the project, (including promoting the project, publishing the book and providing images to the restoration team), will remain with the photographer.

For any questions, please email Richard Rejino at info@lhsa.org.
